I used to be a big fan of the recipe ‘vogelnest’. Every time it felt like a surprise when I opened up my meatball and found a boiled egg inside. This got me thinking. Why not hide something else in the meatball. Exciting no?! Being a big fan of cheese, I decided to put a little mozzarella ball inside. If you then fry the meatballs, the mozzarella will melt. Add the bread crumbs to the minced meat. Take a piece of meat and flatten it out. Now put a little mozzarella ball on it and fold the meat around it. Roll until you have a smooth ball. Repeat this until you have no more meat left.
Stir-fry the meatballs on a medium high fire for 10 minutes.
Cut the white cabbage in small pieces.
Fry the white cabbage in a frying pan with the peanut oil. Season with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Stir-fry the cabbage for 7 minutes on a medium high fire.
