Spring onion during fall…
Every week I order my groceries online. Then, I just pick them up at the supermarket at my prefered time. For me, this is perfect! It saves me a lot of time and usually the supermarkets are about to close when I get off work. The downside is that this does go wrong sometimes. How? Well, I tend to look at the title of the product and the image instead of the description with the measure in it. You feel me coming? On the image the product tends to look big.
One time, I ordered a bottle of wine since I was having a party that night. I received this small bottle of 25cl. You can’t really serve that to more than 1 person… Oops, my bad! This week something similar happened. I needed 5 stems of spring onion. So, I ordered 5 quantities. Little did I know that the measure used was ‘a bunch’. Ok, I could have known if I had read the description, but hey who’s perfect? The result? I got 5 bunches of spring onion! Of course I did not need that many! So, I had to be creative. I started making as much recipes as I could with spring onion. The recipe I am sharing with you today is one with spring onion. The recipe for chicken with spring onion was born.
